Edward “Ward” Glassmeyer is a seasoned financial executive and community leader, currently serving as the Managing Director for Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs since 1997. A Princeton alumnus (1989), he further refined his skills at Harvard, earning an MBA in 1997. Beyond his corporate roles, Ward’s dedication to community service shines in his extensive work with The Darien Foundation. Initiated into the board in 2002, he took the mantle as Chairman in 2008, impressively growing the organization and amplifying its community impact. His guidance has significantly increased the foundation’s annual grants, culminating in over $5.5 million awarded to enhance Darien’s youth services, safety measures, and overall quality of life. Ward’s leadership in fostering community collaborations and his vision for the organization have positively transformed the town of Darien and set a path for continued growth in the future.
